EIGHTIES 'SPLATTER' FRAME

This is Rossin 'splatter' frame from 1986 or 1987. It's made from Columbus Matrix tubing, has internal cable routing and there's a race number holder on top tube. Not sure if the Rossin frame painters were influenced by Jackson Pollock or not, but they certainly created some eye catching designs using this technique.

ROSSIN RECORD WITH KL TUBING

A very nice 53cm (small/medium) Rossin Record was sold by Dave Bax.
The frame is Columbus KL tubing (very light), pantographed chainrings, shifter,

fork crowns and stem. An early 80s beauty!

LUGGED CHROMOVELATO FRAME

A Cromovelato finish is where a completely chromed frame is painted with a coloured clear coat which gives it a glossy almost translucent finish, not unlike candy.
I believe this technique is no longer used because the chemicals involved are bad for the environment, so frames like the lugged eighties one below are become increasingly hard to find.
This one sold on eBay for just over £500.00 ($810.00)
