ROSSIN PRESTIGE

A very nice Rossin Prestige.
Hexagonal steel tubing but with aluminium forks to save weight.
8 speed Dura Ace build

One of the lightest Rossin framesets, the Prestige used hexagonal tange steel

    GARY  FOUNTAIN'S ROSSIN PRESTIGE

This Rossin Prestige was probably built around 1990. Gary Fountain put it together with Campy bits and pieces mainly from the C-Record era. He added ITM stem & bars, along with a Concor Profil saddle. The paintwork is original and the chrome is in perfect condition.

Tubing is Tange Prestige which has been specially shaped with 6 facets. Every tube, stay and fork blade has six facets that blend into a round section - except for the steerer tube which is round in section. All tubes end in a lug of some sort or other.
The Prestige has Rossin pantographs where you don't often see them

The colour is hard to describe - sort of a metallic pinky, coppery, brown.

Unusual fork crown

AND HERE'S A PRESTIGE MID EIGHTIES FRAME:

ONE MORE PRESTIGE FRAME FROM THE 1980s
Octagonal Tange Prestige tubing (even the chainstay and seatstays)
